Primary job duties of personnel requested:
Coordinates quality control procedures in all business processes; manages customer, supplier and internal complaints; performs process audits; supports the continuous improvement philosophy within Pollmann; and trains and supports Quality Technician personnel
Qualifications needed (knowledge, skills, abilities, tools or equipment, personal traits, etc.):
• Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing and/or Quality Engineer Certification
• 5 years Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Experience of mechanical or electro/mechanical components
• Practical experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, and MSA
• Customer and/or Supplier Quality Experience
• Experience in Project and Process Management
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 and QS9000 Standards
• Experience with team oriented problem-solving methods (8-D method)
• Knowledge of plastic processing
• Practical experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) including programming
• Knowledge of statistical and inspection measuring software
• Experience with Blue print reading and Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Practical experience with managing significant characteristics
• Knowledge of product liability and product warranty
• Practical experience with micrometers, callipers, pin gages, master gage blocks, etc.
• Proficient with Microsoft office tools, knowledge of SAP
• Strong Communication skills
